Since 1987, we have been able to publish 145 issues of The Concord Review with 1,595 HS history research papers by students from 48 states and 48 other countries. Diligent high school students inspired me when I was a teacher in Concord, MA, and the work which we have published continues to impress me. I have also seen that these exemplary papers [average 9,000 words] serve to inspire some of their HS peers who see them to read more history and to write serious research papers of their own. As far as I can tell, The Concord Review is still the only print journal in the world for the academic history papers of secondary students.
